What we do

The public has been told that Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) are a key safeguard in ensuring that public impact algorithms cause no harm.

At the moment, however, they are secret documents.

We think this needs to change.

Citizens should be empowered with insight into the risks of new technologies, before they consent to their use.

Our Advocacy Work

We believe that people need to be aware of the risks of harm that can result from using AI and algorithms to make important decisions about all our lives.

We advocate in the media and in Parliament for this issue to be properly examined, and for real positive change to be made.
